Marketing Intern
We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our client solutions team. The Marketing Intern supports and collaborates with other members of the Parabolic account and creative teams to develop and execute client plans and measure the results.
Parabolic is an independently owned strategic agency focused on helping natural and organic consumer product brands “sell in” and “sell through” at retail. We create “Ideas with Trajectory”: insights-based concepts and innovative activations that help brands grow by understanding the needs of retailers and shoppers, giving them both reasons to buy.
Backed by decades of “big CPG” experience, we help plan, sell in, and execute integrated omnichannel commerce marketing for new products, new distribution, seasonal campaigns, partnerships and other initiatives that drive retail sales.
Our clients include food, snacks, beverages, supplements, personal and pet care products sold at natural and conventional grocery, mass, drug & specialty retailers. We also develop and manage vendor-funded marketing platforms for retailers and support innovative solution providers in our industry with B2B marketing.
Qualifications

Undergraduate within 1-2 years of graduation, working towards a bachelor’s degree in a business or marketing related field of study

Proficiency with Microsoft and/or Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Willingness to learn new skills and software/applications

Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with colleagues and eventually existing and potential clients

Results-oriented with demonstrated skill in establishing priorities and organizing resources to deliver on time

Ability to work semi-autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Ability to acknowledge emails within 24 hours during work week (except vacations)

Denver, San Francisco Bay Area or Connecticut location preferred for occasional in-person meetings, but not mandatory
Responsibilities
-
Assist with managing external client communications (i.e. newsletters, social media, etc.)

Work closely with Account Managers to maintain regular reporting and data and prepare results and creative assets for client review

DAM (Digital Asset Management) organization and version management of creative assets

Online and instore research on CPG products

Time Requirement & Compensation

8-10 hours/week of remote work (flexibility around how this is scheduled)

Starting rate of $20/hour with raise & bonus potential based on experience and contributions
